Professional Experience

Team Lead/Senior Training, Education, and Readiness Policy Analyst

United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM)/Booz Allen Hamilton (2011 – 2014)

Provided products and analytical support within a variety of research and analysis roles including the development of the Joint Cyberspace Training and Certification Standards, construction and facilitation of USCYBERCOM Joint Mission Essential Tasks, and force training and education analysis for USCYBERCOM and the Department of Defense. Provided support to proposal efforts valued at $26M including development of analytic products, defining requirements, drafting technical volume material, screening and preparation of resumes, and proposal compliance. 

 

Site Lead/Senior Analyst

Air Force National Tactical Integration (NTI)/MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (2010 – 2011)

      Successfully negotiated National Intelligence Authorities for intelligence cell supporting National Tactical Integration missions to collect, analyze, and report adversary capabilities directly supporting Special Operations Forces – the “boots on the ground.”  Analysts were uniquely resourced to provide real-time targeting data during regional “Arab Spring” events.  

 

Educator/Mentor/Leader/Intelligence Analyst

United States Air Force (1990 – 2010)

Led simulated threat “aggressor” activities assessing organizations’ defenses via cyber penetration testing, social engineering, operational and physical security violations, and emergency incident handling.  Key player in interagency emergency management and crisis communications planning teams supporting Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense operational priorities.

      Developed over 80 hours of academic curriculum and managed all facets of training for over 200 attendees of the Air Force’s premier information operations (IO) course.  Trained over 400 military and civilian Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Managers.  Developed and led mobile training teams, providing targeted curricula to military and civilian training audiences worldwide.  Spearheaded the Air Staff working group responsible for developing new Air Force IO instructions.  

      Led over 50 Air Force Distributed Common Ground Systems (DCGS) intelligence analysts and linguists comprising functional teams supporting overseas contingency operations.  Guided the development, testing, and deployment of new airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems valued at over $16M.  Managed the revitalization of dormant analysis and reporting missions, ensuring the flow of critical intelligence to Coalition Forces.  

      Established first-ever integrated Information Operations and Information Warfare/Aggressor Cells for Alaskan NORAD Region’s Combined Air Operations Center.  Provided timely fused intelligence supporting Defensive Cyber Operations and Information Assurance affecting regional cyber security.  Key member of Information Operation Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures working group – drafted and ublished inaugural volume for Air Force information warriors. Key advisor to 3-Star Commander and staff for Information Warfare and Cyber Operations.

Coordinated the efforts of US and Korean intelligence analysts during periods of increased political and military tensions.  Provided 24/7 support to United Nations and United States Armed Forces leadership throughout the Korean Peninsula. Established new procedures for recognition and reporting of time-sensitive intelligence triggers, shortening the kill-chain and increasing combat decision-making effectiveness by 75%.
