PhD candidate in American Studies at Brown University with an MA in Public Humnaities. My research interests include the history and culture of health and medicine, the material culture of medicine, patient narratives, and the history of alternative medicine or medical skepticism. I am currently at work on a dissertation about Da Costa Syndrome (irritable heart).
