With the modified <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exlibrisgroup.com\/aleph.htm\">Aleph<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sirsidynix.com\/\">Sirsi<\/a> translators, Zotero should now be fully compatible with a host of additional university library OPACs (Online Public Access Catalogs).  We&#8217;ve also updated our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ovid.com\">Ovid<\/a> translator, giving users enhanced access to some of the most influential databases, full-text journals, and academic content in the sciences, arts, and humanities.  <\/p>\n<p>As part of our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zotero.org\/blog\/we-speak-your-language\/\">commitment to internationalization<\/a>, Zotero users can now automatically capture metadata from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/feature.html?docId=487250\">Amazon sites around the world<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>Other translator highlights:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/scientific.thomson.com\/products\/wos\/\">ISI Web of Science<\/a>: indexes thousands of scholarly journals in all areas of research, including the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/Xplore\/guesthome.jsp\">IEEE<\/a>: indexes and in many cases provides full-text access to electrical engineering and computer science literature.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.factiva.com\/\">Factiva<\/a>: indexes news- and business-related sources, including newspapers, newswires, magazines, and radio and television transcripts.<\/p>\n<p>New translators in Beta 3:<\/p>\n<p>ScienceDirect<br \/>\nOvid<br \/>\nBlackwell Synergy<br \/>\nSpringerLink<br \/>\nNature<br \/>\nIEEE Xplore translator<br \/>\nFactiva<br \/>\nCambridge Scientific Abstracts<br \/>\nACM<br \/>\nWeb of Science (but not Web of Knowledge CrossSearch)<br \/>\nHighWire (Oxford Journals, Science, etc.)<br \/>\nAMS MathSciNet<br \/>\nACS Publications<\/p>\n<p>Updated translators in Beta 3<\/p>\n<p>Amazon (now supports international sites and retrieves data from Amazon\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s API)<br \/>\nGoogle Scholar<br \/>\nSIRSI<br \/>\nRIS<br \/>\nInnoPAC<br \/>\nJSTOR<br \/>\nInfoTrac<br \/>\nEmbedded RDF<\/p>\n<p>Translators added via repository since Beta 2 Release 2<\/p>\n<p>arXiv.org<br \/>\nCrossRef<br \/>\nCiteBase<\/p>\n<p>Translators updated via repository since Beta 2 Release 2<\/p>\n<p>Google Books (site update)<br \/>\nAleph<br \/>\nNYTimes (TimesSelect content)<br \/>\nPubMed (page numbers now supported)<br \/>\nCOinS<br \/>\nABC-Clio Serials Web<\/p>\n<p>You can find a list of other compatible databases, library catalogs, and online resources <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zotero.org\/translators\/\">here<\/a>. Because we are constantly adding and refining translators, we encourage users to test sites for compliance rather than relying exclusively on our documentation.
