Bill Guinee
I am a professor of Cultural Anthropology at Westminster College in Missouri. I serve as the chair of the Sociology and Anthropology Department and I am the director of the Center for Teaching Excellence. My research has generally involved practiced religion and medical anthropology. Early work concentrated on healing from suffering in Trinidadian Kali temples. Since then I have worked primarily in India with brief excursions to Malaysia and Japan. Currently I am trying to analyze the life-history narratives of members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
