I am a Senior Consultant with AVPreserve where I specialize in digital asset management, digital preservation strategies, digital repository development, metadata modeling and standards implementation, and data migration. From 2009-2015 I was the Digital Asset Manager for the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress where I developed tools, policies, and partnerships around the acquisition and management of digital collections. I teach archives courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's SLIS and I have been invited to speak on digital collection management at the Center for the Conservation of Art and Historic Artifacts, Roy Rosenzweig Forum on Technology and the Humanities, and in the New York Times. I currently serve as Editor for the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA).
