Benoit Delerue
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Lyon where I have been preparing a dissertation on U.S. state sovereignty. As a graduate teaching assistant, I also teach a course of Defense Policy every other semester. I hold a doctoral contract from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
A U.S. Permanent Resident since 2013, I spend every other half year doing field research in the United States. In 2014, I interned within the Texas Legislature for 6 months.
I hold a Master of International Relations from the University of Lyon, a Master of Geopolitics from the French Institute for Geopolitics at the University of Paris, and a Bachelor of Anglo-American Studies from the University of Lille. I spent one undergraduate year at Birmingham City University, England, studying Sociology, Linguistics, Literature, Creative Writing, and Shakespeare Studies.
After my Master graduation, I was in charge of a lecture course on American History at the University of Lyon.
