Benno Meier graduated in Physics in 2009. During his PhD at Leipzig University and Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf he used nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to study chaos in spin lattices and simultaneously developed NMR in pulsed magnetic fields (up to 62 Tesla). Since 2012 he studies long-lived spin states in small molecules via their NMR and dielectric properties at Southampton University.
