Professional journalist, editor, writer. Logged 20 years or so working in various parts of Asia for Newsweek and Time, and another ten in Detroit, Texas and ultimately New York, where I was a business section editor and writer.

Also an avid sailor, and now do consulting work for community sailing programs, in an effort to introduce the prospect of leveraging on the water experience to teach physics and math to youth.
