The bureau of civic scenarios will facilitate dialogue and catalyze growth within communities and networks by playing host to discussion and by connecting groups with needed tools and expertise. Once challenges are identified, solutions often come from the 'neighbours' in our networks, fields, industries - in a word, our communities. A civic scenario is a vision of how these communities come together. The result of a civic scenario can be a Comprehensive Community Initiative (CCI) or a Comprehensive Network Intiative (CNI), depending on the groups involved.
BCS-BSC is being established to promote and foster systems-thinking throughout the Toronto-Montreal corridor in the areas of arts and culture, science and governance. Specifically, we are seeking a suitable space within downtown Ottawa, which will enable medium-sized gatherings.
