I was born in Malaga, Spain. I studied English (MA) and Spanish (BA) at the University of Malaga. I worked as a language assistant in Glasgow two academic years. In 2004 I moved to Paris, where I taught English and Spanish. In June 2005 I started a MA in language teaching at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III. In June 2006 I was granted a research scholarship that allowed me to concentrate on my PhD - Francine Cicurel (Paris 3) and Nacho Rivas (University of Malaga, Spain) were my supervisors. In December 2010 I was granted a PhD in foreign language teaching. Since September 2011 I am a senior lecturer at Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris.
