Assistant Professor of Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture at Kansas State University. Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. 

I study literary-scientific relations, poetics, and translation studies.  I am currently working on an anthology of 20th century short stories in Spanish, as well as articles on topics such as eugenics and ecocritical approaches to 20th century Spanish literature.

I've spent much time in Spain, and it is my second home.  I'm looking forward to returning, with the hopes of doing more research and (as always) learning some new slang.
