Aladdin Ayesh : Curriculum Vitae

Research Areas

Computational Emotions and Cognition - for interactive cognitive systems, e.g. Human-robot Interaction, sensor fusion and behavior, games, social simulation and eLearning. Multi-agent systems with cognitive architectures approach is often used. My current focus is on emotion modeling and affect state predication for sentiment analysis and eLearning.

Computational Linguistics - which also includes data mining and analytics and it focuses on Arabic language and multi-lingual texts (Arabic/English). My current focus is on sentimental analysis especially in the context of social media and information security.

Swarm Intelligence and Sensor Networks - this focuses primarily on applications of the previous two areas of research especially in mobile networks. This includes social modeling, interaction, optimization, location-based services and user preferences modeling.
