I have the honor of directing the "Publishing the Long Civil Rights Movement" project, which is funded by the Mellon Foundation and UNC.  We are experimenting with some new ways to publish scholarly work online and connect it to primary sources and archives.  We are also experimenting with ways to encourage conversations and the formation of communities around publishing activities online; one such experiment is the shared LCRM Bibliography on zotero.
