Jeffrey Tolbert

I'm a third-year PhD student in Folklore at Indiana University. My interests are fairly diverse, but are typically narrative-based and center on myth, religion and belief, and the folklore (oral and literary) of the supernatural. Irish material has formed the core of my studies, particularly the ancient manuscripts comprising the Irish mythological cycles. Irish myth and folklore continue to be my primary foci, but I am also very interested in East Asian (particularly Japanese) material.
