I'm in the PhD program in English at Princeton, working on media theory and 20th century American prose/theater/film.  My current work is situated at the intersections of media history and science fiction. Other interests the historical avant-garde, Frankfurt School aesthetics, media archaeology, sound studies, and new media culture and the rhetoric of 'content.'  I am utterly convinced that super hero movies are really deep.
