| Abstract | This document presents a preliminary summary of selected results from an online survey conducted in May/June 2009. The aim of the survey was to establish initial user requirements and expectations of a system which would integrate web-based Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) with immersive Multi User Virtual Environments (MUVEs). 197 responses were received to the survey. The first few questions established that a large number of participants had experience with VLE and MUVE technologies. Subsequent questions about the integration of the technology showed a general acceptance of and support for the concept. Finally, a series of questions regarding suggested methods of integration showed areas where the proposal is strong and areas where the usefulness is disputed. |
