In essence, critical thinking isn't to formulate or arrive at readymade answers. The authentic purpose of critical thinking is to - by asking profound questions - guide one on a journey of awareness, exploration and discovery. Thus, critical thinking isn't to debunk hypothesis or to proof that someone or something is wrong, but to rather cooperate with one another in exploring different possibilities (hypothesis) in an effort to determine the best possible solution to a problem within a particular context.

Sadly though, in a modern capitalistic-bureaucratic driven society, a critical thinking approach isn't accepted, encouraged nor promoted, mainly because critical thinking is problem-solution driven and not aiming at making plenty of money as fast as possible with the least effort.
